Is there an official Eagle app for iPhone or iPad?
No. Eagle runs on Mac and Windows, and there's no official Eagle app for iPhone or iPad. Hive is a separate app that can work with an Eagle library.
What's available
People who use Eagle and want something on their phone usually end up with one of two apps. Eagle Pocket, made by an independent developer, opens an existing Eagle library on iPhone and iPad so you can browse it. Hive is a library of its own that saves new references with their source, and it can pass a library to Eagle or import one from it.
Which one fits
If you only want to look at the archive you already have, a viewer is enough. If new references keep arriving on your phone and you want them saved properly before they reach the computer, that's what Hive is for. Many people find the second need is the larger one, because the phone is where most things are first seen.
Using Hive with Eagle
Save on iPhone, go through the new items on iPad, and then copy the library folder to the computer and open it in Eagle. With Pro, you can also import an Eagle library into Hive.
