Can I use a Windows library with Hive?

Yes, by copying it. Copy the library folder from your Windows PC into the Files app on iPhone or iPad, then open that folder in Hive. There is no Windows version of Hive, and none is planned.

This works for a library you keep on a Windows PC, including an Eagle library.
- Copy the library folder from the PC into the Files app on iPhone or iPad.
- Open Hive and select the copied folder as a library.
Avoid iCloud for Windows for an active library
We do not recommend iCloud for Windows to sync a library you are working in. Sync tasks can stall or fail, crashes are common, and in some cases files are lost or corrupted. Copy the folder instead.
Going the other way
To open a Hive library on a Windows PC in Eagle, copy the Hive library folder to the PC and choose it as a library in Eagle. Keep the folder structure unchanged.
