Can I share files or export a folder from Hive?
Yes. You can share any item from Hive, drag items into other apps, save images to Photos, and export a whole folder. On the Mac, export is part of Pro.
Share a few items
Select the items and use Share, the same way you'd share anything on iPhone, iPad, or Mac. The person you send them to receives the files. They don't get access to your library, and they don't need Hive.
Drag into another app
On iPad and Mac you can drag one item or several out of Hive and drop them into another app, such as a drawing app, a presentation, or a message. Any kind of file can be dragged this way.
Export a folder
When the set matters as a whole, export the folder. That's useful for a shortlist you're handing to a client, or a group of references for a retoucher. A folder can also be exported as an .eaglepack file, which someone using Eagle can import in one step. On the Mac, export is a Pro feature.
Save to Photos
Images can be saved to an album in Photos, one at a time or as a batch. WebP images are supported, and Hive shows progress while a large batch is saved.
How export differs from sync
Export makes a separate copy for someone else, and that copy doesn't change when your library does. Sync keeps your own library the same on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, and it's part of Pro.
Questions
Does the person I share with need Hive?
No. They receive ordinary files.
Can I export a slideshow?
Yes. A slideshow can be exported.
How do I move a whole library to a computer?
Copy the library folder to the computer. Eagle can open it as a library if the folder structure is left unchanged.
