Can I save from Instagram, Pinterest, or Xiaohongshu?

Save from the app

You don't need to leave the app you're in.

1. Open the post you want to keep.
2. Tap Share.
3. Choose Hive in the share sheet. If you don't see it in the first row, scroll to More and add it once.
4. Pick Auto Save or Add Details, and you're done.

What you get

Hive fetches the media from the post and stores it in your library along with the link. If the post has several images, Hive brings them in together. Because fetching happens over the network, this step needs a connection, and a long import carries on in the background while you keep browsing.

Save a batch of links

If you've been collecting links in a note or a chat, you can bring them in at once. Copy the links, open Import Center in Hive, and paste them. Hive works through the list and shows you what came back for each one.

If an import returns nothing

Sometimes a platform doesn't hand over the media, or a short link doesn't resolve.

1. Open the post in a browser and copy the address from the address bar, then import that address.
2. Check your connection, and try again a little later in case the platform is limiting requests.
3. Update Hive, since fixes for specific platforms arrive in updates.
4. If it still fails, use the feedback button in Hive and include the link.
