What's the difference between Free and Pro?

What you get for free

You can save from every entry point, organize with folders, tags, stars, and notes, and use Hive on any of the three devices. The free version holds up to 80 images and 10 folders, which is enough to try the whole way of working on a small project before deciding.

What Pro adds

Pro is for a library you depend on.

• Sync of one library across iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
• More libraries, so separate clients or kinds of work can stay apart.
• Full Smart Folders, which collect items by rules and update themselves.
• Eagle import, including Eagle Pack files.
• Libraries on an external SSD formatted as APFS.
• Export on Mac.

Price

In the US App Store, Pro is $3.99 a month, $19.99 a year, or $34.99 once. Prices in other countries are set by the App Store and shown on the purchase screen. One purchase covers iPhone, iPad, and Mac when they use the same Apple Account.

If Pro doesn't appear on a device

Purchases are handled by Apple, so Hive can't see your purchase history directly. If Pro is missing on a device, work through these steps.

1. Check that the App Store on that device is signed in with the Apple Account you used to buy Pro.
2. In Hive, open Settings, go to the Pro or subscription section, and choose Restore Purchase.
3. If it reports no purchase, wait a few minutes and try again. A slow connection to the App Store can cause a false miss.
4. If it still fails, contact Apple Support, who can check the purchase itself.

Refunds

Refunds for App Store purchases are reviewed and handled by Apple. If something isn't working, write to us first from the Contact page, because many problems turn out to be a setting we can help with. If you still want a refund, use Apple's refund request page.
