How do I save from Chrome into Hive for Mac?
Install the Hive extension from the Chrome Web Store, open Hive for Mac with a library, then drag images, videos, or links into the Hive panel, or use the toolbar to save the current URL or capture the page.

Hive for Mac has to be open first
The Chrome extension is a companion to Hive for Mac. It sends saved items only to Hive on the same computer, at a local address. Open Hive and keep a library open before you save from Chrome.
Install the Chrome extension separately
Chrome review is a separate store listing. After you add the extension, pin Hive in the Chrome toolbar so Save URL and the capture actions stay one click away.
Safari on Mac is already inside Hive
The Mac Safari extension ships inside the Hive for Mac app. After you install Hive, turn it on in Safari Settings, then Extensions. That package is separate from the iPhone and iPad Safari extension, which stays inside the iOS app.

No. The iOS Safari extension stays with Hive on iPhone and iPad. The Mac Safari extension ships with Hive for Mac. Chrome has its own listing.
